Praised for his “well-timed comic relief” and as an “exceptionally gifted singing actor”, Cody Ryan Arthur is establishing a career on stages in a variety of styles and repertoire.

As an operatic singer, Cody has performed with companies across the US in roles ranging from the Baroque to the Contemporary repertoire. On the concert stage he has sung with Mercury Chamber Orchestra, Ars Lyrica, Bach Society of Houston, Greenbriar Consortium, Tactus, and River Oaks Chamber Orchestra. Equally as comfortable as a strong collaborator, Cody is sought out as a professional chorister as well performing with Chapelwood’s Cameron Cody Chorale, Bach Society Houston, Harmonia Stellarum Houston, Mercury Chamber Singers, Suono Chamber Choir, and the Houston Grand Opera Chorus. Beyond the classical realm, he enjoys singing Musical Theater, Jazz, and Southern Gospel, performing with Houston’s Theater Under the Stars as well as The Broad’s Way, a Musical Theater revue. A native of Memphis, Cody currently resides in Houston, TX where he maintains a thriving private teaching studio ranging from high school students to adults, and is regularly engaged with local organizations and ensembles as a soloist, choral singer, and conductor.
